Chio is a company founder working on a stealth startup. Previously she worked as a public affairs strategist focused on the intersection between emerging technology, media, and public policy.Her career highlights include leading international communications at Coinbase, and APAC policy communications at Instagram. She also managed regional comms teams in LATAM at Uber, and led public affairs campaigns in emerging markets at Airbnb.Her writing has been featured in various Spanish-speaking outlets. She was also a TechCrunch contributor at the start of her career.Chio holds an International Relations degree from El Colegio de Mexico, and is pursuing an MSc in Neuroscience at King College's Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience.

Previous Projects

She has been involved in technology for over a decade, propelling diversity, empowering women, and embracing adventure. She moved to Singapore on her savings, chasing a dream of building an international career from Asia. She landed at Meta in under a year.Some other highlights:

Consulting

Her door is always open to women looking for career advice. She consistently invests pro bono hours helping friends and colleagues through contract and salary negotiations.Additionally, she has:

  • Advised C staff executives, celebrities, journalists, and friends during PR crises

  • Created three PR agencies: one went bankrupt, one was acquired, and one is still around
